Yannnis Malinakis (b.1995) is a figurative painter who lives and works in Athens, Greece. He graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in July 2025. 

In his work he takes on a surrealistic approach to figuration, while exploring spiritual and existential matters through his thematics.

Malinakis often references art history and mythology through symbolism and a with a dose of mysticism. His works convey a need for existential exploration and questioning.
