The KYAN Residency works by invitation and offers a studio to both local and international artists for a period of one to three months. The purpose of the residency is to provide the invited artists a nurturing creative environment, while experiencing the fresh and vibrant local art scene. The residency works in a communal standard, with several artists coexisting simultaneously. Each  resident has the freedom to explore and enrich their practice without limits during the course of their stay, while the only requirement is a donation of one work of their choice for the program’s archive.
