Residency:

Local and international artists are invited for a period of one to three months, to participate in the Athenian art scene, while working in the KYAN project space. Located in central Athens, in the historic district of Exarheia, the studio is in walking distance from all the central art shops and bookstores, as well as the Archeological Museum, the National Theatre, central galleries and many more artist run spaces.

The aim of the residency is to provide the invited artists a nurturing creative environment, while experiencing the fresh and vibrant local art scene. During the residency several studio visits are planned , as well a private open studio presentation at the end of each cycle. KYAN Residency works in a communal standard, with other artists working in the building simultaneously and therefore each resident is required to respect the terms and conditions of their participation. The residency provides a large studio in the heart of the historic district of Exarheia, Athens. The only requirement per invited resident is a donation of one work of their choice and dimensions for the KYAN Residency Program Archive.

If you are interested in participating in the KYAN residency program please wait for further updates and subscribe to our newsletter for the application process reminder.
